RM-Pro Tremolo Friction Collars
These are the perfect replacement for the Friction
Collars that seem to grow feet and walk away.
These are black anodized aluminum and will fit the
original RM-Pro (with Pop-in Bar).
Notice, I've removed the RM Pro II (only!)
from the list of tremolos that use this friction collar
because apparently, Yamaha had changed design
through production on these. If you'd like to take a shot
at ordering one, feel free, but I can not guarantee
that it will fit your RM Pro II Tremolo.

rollers myself to allow better string movement.

A note about the brass bars.
They have a slight step that can be seen in the pic below because these are a metric bar size
and I have yet to find a good (dependable / reasonable) metric source for brass roundstock.
The step does not hurt a thing, and is hardly even noticeable but I just wanted you to be aware
of it.

I’ve heard from some customers that they have a bit of trouble keeping the locking plates
“straight” when tightening them down. This has not been a massive problem as most customers
are not having issues with this happening at all.
If you are having this issue, cut a thin piece of cardboard (from a cereal box, for example), and slide
it between the locknut base and the locking plates as shown in the picture below. This should help
keep them straight for you.
You can also use a medium to thin guitar pick to do this as well.

This is the curled flat spring that installs with
two small screws. This is what holds/snaps in the
bar as it’s inserted into the bar socket.
